Get set for superhumans and vampires on Vision TV

NO ORDINARY FAMILY

MANY OF the finest TV shows feature characters with superhuman powers in extraordinary situations. So in January we’re celebrating with a collection of supernatural and sci-fi hit dramas on Vision TV as well as documentaries on medical marvels including Stan Lee’s Superhuman and Creating Synthetic Life.

Look out for these hugely popular dramas:

No Ordinary Family
Like Misfits but without the bad language, this US show takes the superhero concept and plays it for laughs. No Ordinary Family is a sci-fi comedy about a typical American family who suddenly develop special powers. The Shield’s Michael Chiklis stars as the super-strong dad who can leap over buildings and catch bullets.
No Ordinary Family Series 1 is available On Demand

Misfits
The Bafta-winning Misfits has been a huge hit, thanks to its combination of dark comedy and superhero storyline. The show about delinquents with superpowers also has some brilliant – and sometimes foul-mouthed – performances by the young cast. Robert Sheehan’s Nathan left after the second series but Series 3 has proved the show can survive without him.
Misfits Series 1-2 is available now On Demand (Series 3 from 5 January)

HeroesHeroes
Don’t miss the final series of one of the most talked-about sci-fi shows. Heroes has an incredible array of superhuman characters – Claire the cheerleader who regularly comes back from the dead is a particular favourite – as well as a cool comic book style. In Series 4, the Heroes try to get back to their normal lives – but it’s hard to be anonymous when you can fly.
Heroes Series 4 is available now On Demand until 12 January and returns in March

Lost
Perhaps the biggest TV event of the last decade, Lost is one of the boldest, most mind-bending shows ever. From its explosive first episode, when the characters crash-land on a mysterious island, Lost is a show that thrills and mystifies in equal measure. Here’s your chance to watch every episode.
Lost Series 1-6 is available now On Demand until 31 May

The Vampire DiariesThe Vampire Diaries
There has been no shortage of bloodsuckers on film and TV in recent years, but The Vampire Diaries is one of the standout supernatural shows. Series 1 and 2 of this US drama chronicle the strange events in Mystic Falls, not least of which is the romance between the teenage Elena and a 162-year-old vampire called Stefan.
The Vampire Diaries Series 1-2 is available now On Demand

Make It Or Break It
As well as sci-fi and the supernatural, the Superhuman season also celebrates special abilities that are actually possible. This US teen drama tackles the lives of elite young gymnasts who have dreams of Olympic glory. And there are a few mean girls to make things interesting.
