Grandma’s House
It’s the second series of Simon Amstell’s much talked-about comedy series and things are less than gravy at grandma’s gaff. The Only Way Is Essex
This week’s bout of cheeky Chelmsford reality compulsion saw Joey form a band called The Boys and write a song called Stinks Like Cats as a tribute to Diags’ flat. Meanwhile, fellow ‘Boy’ Tom P is crushin’ on Lauren G. And, in an EastEnders-style cliffhanger, Ricky’s text pest is revealed…

Hidden Talent
In this new series presented by Richard Bacon, ordinary people discover they possess exciting talents. This week, one courageous, tenacious lady becomes a rock climber, while another finds she’s got the unique ability to spot a liar, and is sent to swot up with ex-FBI agents.

Silent Witness
A now-infamous scene in Sunday’s episode of Silent Witness drew nearly 500 viewer complaints to the BBC for being too violent. Did the makers of the gripping crime drama go too far, or did the show strike the right balance between convincing drama and unnecessary violence?
Available until Monday 14 May on BBC iPlayer on BT Vision
The Voice
Last weekend, the judges had to whittle their 20 acts down to 10 by pitting pairs of singers against each other in an area designed to look like a boxing ring. Expect some seated body popping in big red chairs, but no more spinning around.
Available until Monday 30 April on BBC iPlayer on BT Vision
Britain’s Got Talent
In this week’s edition of the talent contest, 12-year-old Lauren Thalia stole the show with her winning smile and an acoustic version of Turn My Swag On. Elsewhere, Simon got a little attitude from Karizma Krew (and loads more from David), plus, Ant and Dec provided the usual hilarity in the wings.
Available until Sunday 29 April on ITV Player on BT Vision
Perspectives: David Walliams – The Genius of Dahl
The comedian and Britain’s Got Talent judge pays homage to the beloved kids’ author Roald Dahl. He meets Tim Minchin and Dennis Kelly, who adapted Matilda for the West End, and Quentin Blake, the illustrator responsible for bringing lots of iconic Dahl characters to life.
Available until Monday 30 April on ITV Player on BT Vision
Queen Victoria’s Last Love
As we approach our Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, this programme takes a look at Queen Victoria’s in 1897. Then, beyond the street parties, her friendship with an Indian servant was violating taboos of race and class, and causing tension in the Royal household.
Available until Thursday 3 May on 4oD on BT Vision
Four Rooms
More brave members of the public waltz into Four Rooms to tantalise hard-nosed art dealers with their prized possessions. This week, items on offer include a wallet made from the skin of Edinburgh body snatcher William Burke, and an egg laid by the biggest bird ever.
Available until Thursday 3 May on 4oD on BT Vision
The Apprentice
After the exertion of last week’s fitness challenge, the gangs go gourmet in Edinburgh. Their task is to sell lunch to the hungry and oblivious, but first, they get a crash course in moveable feasts at a fancy London fair. What’ll be on Lord Sugar’s menu – meatballs or stew?
