Our Crime
Part of a BBC Three series exploring the consequences of youth crime, this week’s episode – Riot – considers last year’s disturbances from the perspective of those closest to them. Watch phone footage of chaotic London streets, hear the reactions of eye-witnesses, and meet the people whose lives were directly affected.
Available until Monday 16 April on BBC iPlayer on BT Vision
The Apprentice
The two teams set up shop in London’s trendy Brick Lane this week, flogging junk (some of it sourced from actual rubbish bins) to passing hapless hipsters. It all leads – of course – to a dumping in the boardroom!
Available until Sunday 10 June on BBC iPlayer on BT Vision
The Mighty Mississippi With Sir Trevor McDonald
There is no topic Sir Trev can’t captivate us with, and he doesn’t disappoint here. In this new series, he travels 2,500 miles along the vast, meandering river from the Gulf of Mexico to its source in Minnesota. This episode starts at the waterway’s mouth, and visits a post-Katrina New Orleans.
Available until Wednesday 18 April on ITV Player on BT Vision
The Sinking Of The Concordia Caught On Camera
This hour of programming manages to give a minute-by-minute account of the maritime disaster, using mainly mobile phone footage captured by passengers. It shows the unravelling of the nightmare from the perspective of those in the corridors, the lobby, the restaurant and the rooms, with no interviews – just testimony and narration.
Available from Thursday 12 April on 4oD on BT Vision
Robson’s Extreme Fishing Challenge
Our Robson doesn’t do things by halves. Or, if he does, he travels to beautiful places to do them. In episode one of the new series, he travels 700 miles south of Rio de Janeiro to challenge Giba, a local who gets his kicks angling for anchovies in rough waters.
Available until Monday 16 April on Demand 5 on BT Vision
The Sarah Millican Television Programme
Catch the penultimate show in the series from award-winning comedian Sarah Millican. The show talks TV, and combines celebrity interviews with Sarah’s unique brand of charmingly self-deprecating stand-up. This week, she turns her attention to sports and entertainment programmes and shares giggles with Clare Balding, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and Louie Spence.
Available until Sunday 15 April on BBC iPlayer on BT Vision
The Cube
It’s back! The show that makes you scream at the screen like no other. New challengers step inside the glass cube to be confronted with tricky tasks, and their efforts are captured from all angles. This is the fourth series, and the question remains: will anyone ever beat the thing?
Available from Sunday 15 April on ITV Player on BT Vision
10 O’Clock Live
This is the last in the series, so catch up now for your final fix of the wry, rambunctious glances on the week’s events from David Mitchell, Lauren Laverne, Jimmy Carr and Charlie Brooker. See the last of the quartet’s interviews, topical comedy, investigations and squabbles.
Available until Thursday 19 April on 4oD on BT Vision
The Million Pound Drop Live
Watch Davina and her merry band of bouncers as she guides more pairs of contestants through the drop. You might have blown your chance to play along online, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy watching other people throw big money into the plummeting depths of nowheresville.
Available until Sunday 15 April on 4oD on BT Vision
The Voice
It’s the fourth and final week of the blind, spinny-chair auditions, which means the judges might be wearing new outfits next week. This is the last chance saloon for Tom Jones, Jessie J, Will.i.am and Danny from The Script, as they top up their teams to 10 and prepare to do battle.
Available from Sunday 15 April on BBC iPlayer on BT Vision
