Blue Bloods – Season 1
This acclaimed drama series follows the Reagan family of NYPD officers, headed by police commissioner dad Frank (Tom Selleck). Middle son Joe died in the line of duty, and it’s up to siblings Jamie and Erin to pick up his unfinished business.

Reno 911! – Seasons 1-3
Prefer your law with a pinch of salt? Try spoof show Reno 911!, which pokes fun at the ever-so dramatic series Cops (among others). It follows the brave men and women of Washoe County Sheriff’s Department in Reno as they attempt to keep the casino-crammed streets safe.

Above Suspicion – Series 1-3
This ITV drama series is based on the novels by Lynda La Plante, featuring heroine DC Anna Travis. A must-see for fans of Prime Suspect, these two- and three-part mysteries focus on grisly murders with some gripping plot twists.

Justified – Seasons 1-2
Graham Yost’s critically acclaimed show stars Timothy Olyphant as old-fashioned lawman Deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens. As a result of a ‘justified’ shooting, Givens is reassigned from Florida to Lexington in Kentucky, a rural mining district that includes his home town.

Dark Blue – Seasons 1-2
Set on the mean streets of LA, Dark Blue revolves around undercover cop Carter Shaw. He and his fellow officers are loyal to each other in the extreme, and fully committed to bringing down the baddest baddies.
