Warm up for the Rugby League World Cup with classic action
Classic Rugby League available as part of the Standard Sports pack or pay per view for 96p
For more than 35 years Australia have dominated the Rugby League World Cup. In every tournament since 1972 the Kangaroos have been supping a beer cocktail - Fosters, Castlemaine XXXX and a dash of lime - from the trophy soon after the final whistle.
On the bright side the only other team to win it is Great Britain, which means we’re the second best in the world at something, which isn’t too shabby. Still it’ll take a Herculean effort to beat the Kangaroos, especially since the home nations will be competing separately this time round.
But, luckily, you can re-live plenty of English rugby league success by watching BT Vision’s collection of Challenge Cup films. There’ll be no better time to do it.
