AJ Styles targets glory in Turning Point

<br />

Wrestlers are a pretty argumentative bunch. But AJ Styles is such a social hand grenade that he even makes his fellow wrestlers look like the Samaritans. In fact, he’s so confrontational he could probably start a fight in a room on his own. He has a long-standing beef with Sting, the current TNA heavyweight champion. The pair meet in this month’s Showdown: Turning Point, affording them the perfect opportunity to work through their problems.

Their differences stem from a lack of respect between the younger and older wrestlers at TNA. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe are part of the younger wrestlers called the TNA Originals, while Sting, together with veterans Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash and Booker T, are part of Main Event Mafia – a collection of more experienced wrestlers that joined TNA from other organisations. Watch to see whether young whippersnapper AJ Styles is able to teach an old dog new tricks.

This running feud also provides Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash an opportunity to give each other a pounding. Other bouts on the bill include Booker T and Christian Cage contesting the TNA Legends Championship, Abyss versus Kurt Angle and Sheik Abdul Rashir against Rhino.
