And Rhino is in fact the challenger to Sting in the World Heavyweight Championship match as the Icon hopes to retain his title.

Another veteran keen to make his mark at this TNA Showdown event is Jeff Jarrett who renews his grievance with Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle in the Grudge Match. But the biggest tear up is likely to be in the six man tag team contest. Here Mick Foley, AJ Styles and Brother Devon go up against Booker T, Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner.

Also on the bill is the TNA Knockout Championship: Lumberjack Match between Christy Hemme and Awesome Kong as well as the final X-Division Championship tournament.
