For the third consecutive year the FA Cup final went to a replay in 1983. Brighton held Man Utd to a 2-2 draw in the first game but in the replay the Red Devils made a feathery mess of the Seagulls as Bryan Robson, Norman Whiteside and Arnold Muhren scored in a 4-0 win.
