Power Rangers Ninja Storm (series 1)
The plot: When evil ninja master Lothor returns to Earth, three misfit students from the Wind Ninja Academy are given Morphers to become Power Rangers and defend the planet.
What’s special about it? Keeps a tongue firmly in its cheek, with the Power Rangers’ Sensei reduced to a kimono-wearing guinea pig and the evil Lothor making wink/nudge jokes with the audience.
Fan-favourite moment: Cam becomes the Green Samurai Ranger and gets the chance to fight with the rest of the Power Rangers.
Power Rangers SPD (series 1)
The plot: It’s 2025 and the Space Patrol Delta academy is spewing out power rangers to police the Earth and its mixture of human/alien citizens. Chief Anubis leads the Rangers’ battle against rogue alien life forms.
What’s special about it?: Character tension grows between SPD’s lead characters when two reformed thieves join them. With an alien threat to battle, the Rangers must put aside their differences and go into action as one.
Fan-favourite moment: The A-Squad reveal their true allegiance and kidnap Commander Cruger.
Power Rangers Mystic Force (series 1)
The plot: Trapped beneath the Earth by brave wizards, an evil darkness will rise again. Legend demands that the sorceress Udonna finds five young people to fulfil their destiny and defeat it.
What’s special about it?: The mystic powers imparted to the Rangers adds an extra dimension to this series, as they transform into otherworldly creatures such as minotaurs, dragons and sprites.
Fan-favourite moment: The bit in episode 1 where rock solid Nick is responsible for Madison turning to stone.
