What to watch and record on Freeview this weekend

Top of the must-see list this weekend is Let’s Dance For Comic Relief (Saturday, 6.30pm).

If you’ve been feeling the absence of a little dance magic in your life since the end of Strictly Come Dancing, this is the show for you.

A galaxy of TV stars, including Jo Brand, Dick and Dom, and Blue Peter presenters Peter Purves and Anthea Turner will be toe-tapping for cash in aid of Comic Relief.

Hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Steve Jones, the show sees the celebs pay homage to iconic dance routines and compete for a chance to dance in the final — part of Red Nose Day itself on Friday 13 March.

It’s sure to be a glamorous, sequinned affair — make sure you’re in on the action.

After the glitz, curl up and boggle at the poor victims of food phobias in BBC3’s Freaky Eaters (Saturday, 7pm).

A psychological coach and nutritionist investigate — and try to mend — the blighted lives of those suffering from severe food phobias.

Music fans should check out ITV4’s Freddie Mercury: Magic Remixed (Saturday, 8pm) — a close-up view of the life and career of the beloved lead singer of Queen.

Elton John, McFly and Robbie Williams reminisce about one of music’s most iconic singers.

And if all that’s been a bit taxing, veg out in front of E4’s all-new 90210 (Sunday, 6pm).

It’s the first night of the school musical in the fifth episode of the reinvented early ’90s cult show.
