WE’VE GOT an exciting summer of superhero movies heading to Vision Film Club soon, including Batman, Superman and Blade. What better way to prepare for the big-screen outing of Green Lantern in June?
Superhero fans will definitely be going green this summer. When it comes to comic book adaptations, Green Lantern is the most anticipated movie event of the year. It’s a dazzling science-fiction superhero adventure about a human-turned-intergalactic hero, who battles evil with a magical ring that turns thought into reality.
Green Lantern director Martin Campbell knows how to produce action thrills – he directed Bond movies Casino Royale and GoldenEye – and star Ryan Reynolds promises to be a classic superhero who can “throw a punch, tell a joke and kiss a girl”.
