Buckle up for Adventureland

It’s an 80’s rollercoaster ride through teenage love, lust and lounging in screwball coming-of-age comedy Adventureland, now on Vision Film.

Earnest pothead James Brennan is all geared up to get his rocks off around Europe in his pre-college summer break, but an untimely fall from grace by his alcoholic dad means a last-minute change of fortune and James is forced to spend his summer working in the town’s tacky theme park to finance his studies.

Romantically drawn to the alluring but complicated Em, played by a pre-Twilight Kristen Stewart, James learns some serious life lessons in the unlikely setting of the Long Island funfair.
