Or try A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (pictured) with the loveable hippies up to ever more rib-tickling festive hijinks.

There’s also top animation about Santa’s youngest son in Arthur Christmas, and New Year’s Eve (available from 3 December), a romantic comedy busting at the seams with A-listers including Robert De Niro, Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer. Plus you’ll find school play shenanigans starring Martin Freeman (soon to be known the world over as Bilbo Baggins) in Nativity!, and a rubber-faced Jim Carrey greening it up in How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
